During this time, he realized that the conventional Wall Street approach to advising fell short in helping clients achieve their financial goals. Hermes is passionate about the fact that clients must always be the focal point of the advisor-client relationship, and no conflicts of interest should compromise the quality of advice. Furthermore, he advocates that everyone, including himself, should have a well-defined financial plan.
